A Web Agency For Writers
I’m still working on the concept of my umbrella company Writelier, but I’m very close to getting the core idea exactly as I want it.
Writelier is a venture studio with a simple mission statement: to give written content creators the tools they need to blossom.
The business activities include custom web development services like blogs, portfolios, or ebooks, as well as digital products like Cowriters. I am thus progressively moving out of technical writing as a freelancer to focus more on web development.
My value proposition is about providing high-performance custom applications following sustainable web development practices (green web). The resulting projects are either self-hosted or managed with an in-house green CMS.
Each service is productized to remove friction on both sides, but not completely SaaSified as to allow me to focus more on growing Cowriters.
I already have a logo, a business model, and the right mission. I need to work on a manifesto à la 99signals and roll out the blog as soon as possible.
The goal of the blog is to create a complete brain dump of what I know about sustainable web development for writers, and hopefully convince future customers to start a long-term partnership with me.
