After almost two months of curfew, Budapest is finally going back to normal. I had my first drink outside with my traveling friends a few days ago, and saying we are glad it’s almost over is an understatement.

I’ve been stuck here for close to 5 months, hopping from one Airbnb to another. Even though I was able to rely on my work and some good company to stay cheerful, I felt incredibly stuck. I’m just not programmed to stay in one place for that long.

Tomorrow, finally, I’m going back on the road. Off to lake Balaton for at least four days. I’m excited about the swimming and the partying, but I’m even more dying to take long walks in nature, enjoy the sun, and write by the lake.

My flights are still getting canceled so I don’t know if I’ll be able to get back to France before July. The borders are reopening from June 15 onward, so I might just take a bus instead.

I made some progress on the new Cowriters web app but there is still a lot of refactoring to do. The different page layouts are almost all complete. I just need to adapt the back-end logic and the React components to this new design. Once I’m done with that, I’ll focus on launching Writelier and curating my massive content into different blogs. Summer is approaching, and so is my next entrepreneurial milestone.
