Lifelong Writing
Writing is not just a habit, it’s a lifestyle. It’s not simply a means to an end: it’s a different way to see the world that profoundly impacts the practitioner.
If you truly want to feel the full benefits of writing, you have to be serious about it. Even if you can only write 200 crappy words every day, they have to be the best 200 crappy words you had in you at this moment in time. You owe to others, but most importantly, you owe it to you: your words will always be there for you.
Your words are your best friends. If you take them seriously, they will give you fame, wealth, and love. Sometimes more.
Ancient sages used to say that a life well spent is dedicated to philosophy. Your ability to write well and often will give you access to a world of ideas you never dared to imagine in the first place. It’s an investment in yourself that never ceases to generate interests.
Don’t do it because I’m telling you to, or because you like the idea of being a writer, write because it will forever change your life.
